About

Hi, my name is Natalie! I'm from Charlotte, North Carolina and I'm currently a student at UNC Chapel Hill studying Psychology and English. I love writing poetry, playing excessively complicated board games, shopping for things I don’t need, getting coffee with friends, and mint chocolate chip ice cream (duh)! My own struggles with identity discovery, social and academic anxiety, friendship troubles, and trauma recovery have made me passionate about mental health and resource accessibility, and have ultimately motivated me to become a Somethings Mentor. I hope to create a safe, judgement-free space where you can feel validated and understood while we work through difficult situations together, on your terms!

What I'm Doing

I’m finishing up my last two years of undergrad while preparing to get a Masters in Social Work! I’m also working in a personality research lab, volunteering in a psychiatric hospital, being creative in my coed art & literary fraternity, and watching way too much reality TV! (Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, anyone?)
